The Cortes family has been entertaining audiences around the world for five generations with their twisting, spinning, and somersaulting capabilities.
MEET THE FLYING CORTES FAMILY
Originally from Colombia, South America, Brothers Robinson and Alexander Cortes lead the troupe and have performed with such circuses as Circus Flora, Big Apple Circus and Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey.
The Flying Cortes have won numerous awards around the world, including the Golden Elephant at the International Festival Du Massy, France and have even been featured in the PBS special “Circus”.

FLYING TRAPEZE SPECTACULAR
Taking traditional Flying Trapeze to a new level by adding a gymnastic high bar and a looping trapeze, we perform a variety of the classic flying maneuvers over 30 feet in the air on the only trapeze structure of its kind!

A VARIETY OF AERIAL ACROBATICS
Aerial acrobatics is one of our specialties. We love to demonstrate strength, agility, and grace high above our crowds. Each year we highlight various acts such as Swinging Trapeze, Corde Lisse, Cloud Swing, Spanish Web or Lyra.
